Spring Break Program

The Boys & Girls Club of Cypress hosted a week long Spring Break program this year with an “Around the World” theme. The program ran from March 13th through 17th and included a wide variety of cultural activities, crafts, and games from various countries such as Egypt, Greece, Brazil, Italy, and Japan. Members enjoyed cooking projects, competing in an Olympic field day, participating in STEM challenges, and much more. Fun field trips were taken to John’s Incredible Pizza and to the movies to see Lego Batman. Over 100 members enjoyed this year’s Spring Break program at the Club.

The members had a special treat on Thursday when the Cypress High School Baseball Team came to the Club and served an all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch, with grilling duties led by Mr. Charles Williams. The kids loved playing outdoor field games with the high school athletes in between bites of their burgers and hot dogs. On the final day of the Club’s week-long program, all Club members took a walking field trip to Veteran’s Park for an Olympic-themed field day with rotations assisted by volunteers from the Cypress Target. It was a great way to end a fantastic week at the Club!
